The Creature From Below

The creature from below

My names james and i'm a forest kid. I live in a tree house, I have a metal arm, Which I built myself~

I also live in the middle of the jungle and

have a lot of friends, (also known as twigs). To be honest, I don't really have much of anything.

One day I was going to have lunch when I realised I didn't have any food or water. So the obvious thing to do would be getting out and finding food but james was lazy and fell asleep instead.

Later he woke up to take a look outside. its getting dark. He thought to himself *growl* and i'm starving! I should have gotten out side while I had the chance, oh well, maybe I can get back home before dark. So he got his fishing rod and went out in search of food. *yawn*  I feel like the old steam is getting further away everyday. Oh never mind it's right there. Hmm looks different. A lot different… he sat by a tree for a while he waited for a fish to catch on to his hook, but later went past like a snail. And that's when he heard something make a noise, verr-roomp-ishhh. Yay! A fish! But there was no pull. Fishy?

He looked to the right to see where the fish was. No fish. To the left. And that's when he saw…

a jungle creature! It arose from the swamp with water gushing out of itself. It looked like a tree type of robot thing. verr-roomp-ishhh. A glimpse of light shot out of something in the creature's hand. Again it made the noise. Then a boom of black smoke shot across the forest. I quickly shoved my arm over my eyes and when I turned to take a look all I saw was the swamp water being dirty and gooey.

I had no idea what to do. Was the creature friendly or was it here to destroy the forest. I peeked around the tree and saw a strange hole, but, it was two dimensional? As a smart kid I thought I knew everything! Until this… I guess is I can't be smartest, I can be the bravest!

I faced the creatures back. “Hey! Monster!”. It faced me. Eyes of fire, smile of none. I trembled in fear. That's when I realised. I shouldn't have done that… The creature walked towards me. “GO BACK TO YOUR SEAT”. I started to run. It was dark now.  I ran back into the woods knowing I would lose it. That's when it became foggy. I lost my direction. Where has my home gone? Where have I gone? I should just give up… I slowed down and dropped to the ground then began to cry, so hungry, cold, tired. But I... I… can't give up! I stood up, my legs wobbling, scratches down my arm and leg. I stood.

*drip*drip*I looked above me only the monsters eyes staring at me. I started running again. Thoughts rushed through my head. Why didn't the monster eat me when It had the chance? What seat? All . I looked back to see where the monster was. SMACK! I rubbed I cheek and took a look at what was infront of me. My house! I ran inside and had a sit down on the couch *pop* Ha? I grabbed something underneath me. Chips! I started up my everyday thing again. And everything was back to normal apart from learning something new.

That there might be some hard times where you think you're through, And believe me you can get scared, but you need to stand and get past the storm until the sun shines through. And that's how everything turned out ok for me.
